How do you tell the difference between the Prelude JDM motor and the USDM motor?

I just bought a 93 Honda Prelude I plan on racing this spring. The previous owner said it was an imported JDM motor. How do I tell?


It is an H22A. Please Help! Thanks!|||Look at the block where it says h22. jdm is H22A,.. while the usdm is H22A1......the number after the A is a country code, no number is jdm|||Are you from Tennessee?|||get the vin #s off of it and do a car fax see what you get.... that's all i know
