How reliable is a honda with a JDM motor swap?

I had a honda prelude with a bad motor but i didnt keep it around b/c i wasn't to sure how reliable it would be with a motor swap.

So, does anyone (whos done a swap to their car) know how reliable Hondas assembled in the US are with a motor swappped in from Japan?? anybody whos been through it I would appreciate some info.

thanks and +rep for whoever answers|||If anything the JDM motor would be more reliable. in Japan, it is ilegal to keep your same motor when it reaches about 60k miles due to strict emission laws. so the owners sell the car for a new one, or swap the motor, then either way they import the motor because it can no longer be used in japan.|||JDM engines are used engines taken from cars salvaged in Japan, and shipped to the USA for consumption here. They are no more or no less reliable than any used engine that you would find in a junk yard here in the USA.|||theyre all rebuilt and tested before shipment, so yeah they are reliable, ive had around 3 in different cars.
