Only if you don't want right hand drive. If you have to have right hand, then import away.



If so just get a usdm shell and fill it with Jdm components. Easier than all the fees

like cjo said if a car has a usdm equivalent its better to buy one and make a jdm look alike with a usdm vin. if, like a skyline, there is no US equivalent its better to buy one someone else has imported and already made legal to drive in the US.
